The European Builders Confederation (EBC) participated in the kick-off event of the EU-funded project INCREASE, aiming to advance the integration of photovoltaic (PV) systems in buildings and infrastructure. Led by Belgian company Th!nk E, the 54-month project with a €10 million budget unites industry experts, innovators, and researchers.

INCREASE focuses on innovations in PV module design, coatings, and operation guidelines to enhance aesthetics, reduce glare, and improve environmental impact and fire resistance. It also explores IPV facade, roof concepts, and noise barriers, providing practical guidance through pilots and rigorous testing. EBC plans to advocate for supportive policies, share knowledge, and promote project outcomes throughout Europe.
