This Passive House certified building is CO2-neutral, combining the highest energy efficiency measures with low carbon impact materials.
Editorial Team

ShowPass is both an apartment building and a showroom open to public to convince on the benefits of Passive House certification. The building has been renovated and harmonised with the urban environment. To preserve the original aesthetic, the insulation has been made inwards, using mineral calcium silicate.

A detailed monitoring of comfort and energy data has been ongoing since 2021 and data is continuously analysed to demonstrate feasibility of CO2-neutral buildings in this type of climate. A Life Cycle Cost calculation also shows that the building recovers additional costs in a few years.
