International Conference – Energy Performance of Buildings reaches this year the 15th edition and it will bring to your attention the efforts and the measures taken to reduce the carbon emissions and to increase the use of the renewable energy.

Event theme is “Roadmaps for NZENs & ZEBs – Between obligations and responsibilities” and it is organized by OAER (Romanian Chamber of Energy Assessors) and AIIR (Romanian Association of Building Services Engineers) with the support of UTCB (Technical University of Civil Engineering) and EU-CONEXUS (European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability).

National Library of Romania will host with this occasion energy assessors, architects, designers, academic & research representatives, students & young professionals, construction developers, maintenance & commissioning companies, producers & distributors of construction materials & building services equipment.

The organizers propose topics that fit into the current context, dominated by the problems generated by the global warming and the need to reduce the use of fossil fuels or even ban them. Given that the building stock is responsible for almost 40% of total CO2 emissions, we will see what impact the revised EPBD will have on it, how we use the e-Tools to transpose the EPB set of standards and how we decarbonise heating and cooling systems. The circularity of construction equipment and materials and the digitalization of the built environment are other topics that will be debated by the experts in the field invited to take part in this edition of the RCEPB, and which are decisive in achieving the goal of creating a zero-emission building stock by 2050.

The REHVA president, Cătălin Lungu, the AIIR president, Ioan-Silviu Doboși, the Co-chair of REHVA’s TRC, Ilinca Năstase and the AIIR-FV vice-president, Tiberiu Catalina are the first confirmed speakers. The table will be filled with many more guests, our list including experts from several countries.

We invite you to participate in the 15th edition of the RCEPB and contribute together to the development of a sustainable and resilient built environment.
