Markolfhalle Markelfingen by Steimle Architekten is located next to Lake Constance, and it stands out with its local spruce wood construction. This timber multipurpose hall, nestled into the landscape's slope, hosts sports courts and an event stage under a cantilevered roof. The design integrates seamlessly with the rural surroundings, echoing traditional structures with its timber columns and battens. 

Inside there is a spacious sports hall and raised stage cater to various activities. Slim windows provide natural light and ceiling has an exposed gridded timber structure. The upper level features a foyer with panoramic views and a reception kiosk. Markolfhalle Markelfingen emerges as a vibrant hub, harmonising contemporary architecture with the region's heritage and community needs.
