As the first and priority implementation of the Regional Energy, Environment and Climate Program (PREAC), which outlines Lombardy Region's energy transition in the 2030 horizon, keeping the ambitious target of decarbonisation by 2050 on track, CENED of Regional public Company for Innovation and Procurement (ARIA S.p.A.) has created a new tool for energy saving, enhancing the wealth of information present in the Energy Cadastre of Regional Buildings collected thanks to the work of energy certifiers.

We have therefore developed a tool that allows anyone to quickly simulate the energy performance of a residential building. Through the indication of some parameters, it is possible to trace the level of energy performance of the building in question. The results obtained are the result of processing the data acquired through the Energy Performance Certificates deposited in the Energy Cadastre of Regional Buildings (CEER) and through the comparison with properties that have similar characteristics to the one being analysed.

Alternatively, for residential buildings already equipped with APE, it is possible to trace the values ​​of its main energy performance indicators, simply by entering its identification code: in this way, anyone can compare them with the average values ​​obtained from the certificates available on the CEER and refer to properties that have similar characteristics. In addition to this verification, the tool supports the possibility of simulating some or even individual efficiency interventions, such as the replacement of fixtures, the replacement of a heat generator, the insulation of the envelope and so on.

The simulation gives us an indication of the costs to be incurred, using the information processed by ENEA in the Report on tax deductions, of the possible annual savings, thus helping us to have an initial useful information regarding the convenience of the investment, and the energy class that we can achieve through interventions.
