The 39th AIVC conference: "Smart ventilation for buildings" will be held on 18 and 19 September 2018 in Juan-les-Pins, France. It will also be the 7th TightVent conference and the 5th venticool conference.
Energy and climate goals have been shaping many countries’ policy and legislative agendas in the EU and beyond in the past decade. The building sector plays a crucial role in achieving these goals, considering the energy use attributed to buildings and its huge potential for improved energy performance.

Smart-Up is an EU funded project that will encourage vulnerable customers in those Member States that have embarked on the roll-out of Smart Meters to actively use their Smart Meters and In-House Displays to achieve energy savings.
Previous studies have shown that Smart Meters do not lead to energy savings in the residential sector unless households actively use them and modify their energy-use behaviour. This project will fill the gap, as well as raise awareness on demand response services.

ARENE Ile-de-France is organizing a conference on solar energy in Île-de-France on Tuesday 19 December, 2017 in the morning.
The conference will start at 9 am and will take place in Halle Pajol, in Paris (France).
The aim of the meeting is to present and discuss the development of this sector in the Ile-de-France region. The event is focused to elected officials, community agents and solar industry actors and will be an opportunity to represent this sector, to discuss the technical and regulatory novelties and to focus on the Paris region’s experience.

Energiesprong into Action! Social housing as a catalyst for net-zero energy refurbishment markets
Some 50 international partners of Energiesprong gathered in Nottingham, UK during the 24 and 25 of October, 2017 to share good practice and discuss the development of the Energiesprong concept. Energiesprong Market Development Teams from the UK, Netherlands, France and Germany were joined by suppliers and housing associations to showcase the Energiesprong approach to housing retrofit and new build.

The Regional Observatory for Energy, Climate and Air (ORECA) opens its new database CIGALE with the contribution of AirPACA. Fusion of the old Energ’Air and Emiprox, this new interface aims to disseminate the energy data on the territories of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, as well as emissions of atmospheric pollutants and GHGs.
